Care and Use

All functional pieces (mugs, bowls, plates etc) are food safe unless otherwise noted.

Designed for everyday use, but hand washing is recommended to extend their longevity. Dishwasher cleaning will always be more effective than handwashing, but can decrease the piece's longevity.

The clay body is highly grogged, so unglazed areas (such as the foot) remain slightly porous. Therefore, avoid using the microwave unless the piece is completely dry, as any trapped moisture in unglazed areas may cause cracking.

Do not leave food in the piece for long periods of time, and avoid soaking in the sink. Do not store food in your pieces.

With proper care, your piece can be enjoyed for many years while retaining its beauty and functionality.
