Care

My pieces are made to be used every day, but some surfaces need a bit more attention. Many of my glazes have texture—whether that’s a slightly rough crawl, a crackled surface, or natural variation from the kiln.

To clean pieces with surface texture:

• Wash by hand using very hot water and a brush or scrub pad.

• Avoid letting food or liquids sit too long on textured surfaces, especially in crevices.

The clay is fully vitrified and strong, but textured glazes may hold onto oils or residues more than smooth ones.
